Sam Hoger
Professor Sam Hoger has been involved in martial arts for most of his life and has been studying Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for over 15 years. His training first began in Karate at the age of six to thirteen and then at fourteen he decided to begin studying jiu-jitsu under Professor Ted Stickel.
In July 2009, Sam Hoger was awarded his black belt by Professor Stickel, certified as a Gracie Barra jiu-jitsu instructor and awarded his first degree by Professor Monteiro who received his black belt by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. the head of Gracie Barra.
Prof. Hoger has a black belt in Karate and Tae Kwon Do.
Prof. Hoger is a Miletich Elite Pro Team Member
Sam Hoger is the only MMA Instructor in Houston, TX to have fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and to continue to train and compete regularly. |
